Waterproof materials
Whether it's drizzle or a sudden shower, your ergobag keeps everything dry. The school bag has environmentally friendly, PFC-/PFAS-free waterproofing outside and an extra interior layer of waterproof material, so your books and worksheets will always stay perfectly dry. Our materials even meet protective rain gear standards - they have a waterproof rating of 1500 mm.
Extra-tough
The extra-tough stitching on your ergobag's seams can withstand even the heaviest loads. And we test all of our straps and zippers according to European standards, so you can be sure they're ready for anything at school. You can count on your ergobag for years to come.
Sturdy base
A proper school bag needs a solid base that won't melt at the first sign of puddles, so we've made the bottom of the ergobag extra-sturdy. It's molded from tough, waterproof plastic and sheathed in super-durable, tear-resistant material. So the ergobag you bring to kindergarten will still be going strong in fourth grade.

All the materials we use in our ergobag backpacks have to past a long list of strict tests. We work with experts to develop materials that are tailor-made for school days - and pass every test with flying colors. Fun fact: as part of the product development process, our quality management team tries to imitate school life... which means tossing backpacks down the stairs or kicking them across the room.
