Fill an empty jar with coarse salt. The layer of salt should be about 2 cm high. Add water until the salt is just covered with water. If you like, you can color the water with food coloring.

Place your jar in a warm place and, if possible, do not move it. Now it's time to wait and be amazed. After approx. 2 days, you will be able to see the first salt crystals at the bottom and observe how the salt crust grows higher every day.

Now it's time for the glass decoration. Print out the ergobag silhouette template and fold your colored paper like an accordion to a width of 4 cm. Transfer the star, Christmas tree or snowman template to your paper and cut out your folded paper. Make sure that your template really extends from edge to edge and that you don't cut off the connection to the back when cutting out.

You can now decorate your silhouettes with eyes, hats, scarves and ear muffs to your heart's content and stick them around your finished salt frost glass.

Carefully place a small tea light or LED light in your glass and make yourself comfortable with a cup of cocoa, some gingerbread and your Advent salt freezer glass
