Here we go. Cut out small cards from colored paper. Cards in the shape of flowers, hearts, stars or clouds are particularly cute. Depending on what you like best! Then use a hole punch to make a hole in the top of each card. Now write a loving wish, an encouraging word or an affirmation for the schoolchild on each card.

Then pull a colorful ribbon through each hole and tie it tight. Use the ribbons to attach the cards and hangies to the spokes of the open umbrella. You can also attach them in different lengths so that they dangle nicely. (Ps. Money, sweets or small back-to-school gifts can also be perfectly attached to the umbrella).
